Step 1:Insert Daiichi 2720 size 1/0
Step 2: You want to fish this fly just below the surface adding a little weight will help break the surface tension

Fishing the Dying Baitfish pattern for smallmouth you should use a floating line, I like to use the Rio Clouser Line, attach a long 9ft-10ft leader. Fish the fly pretty slow, let the copper flash to the work for you. Remember you are fishing a dying minnow, this type of pattern will really bring out the big smallmouth.
