Junk Yard Dog Fly-Tying Instructions

Step 1: Start with the rear hook first

Step 2: Tie in your Saddle Hackle

Step 3: Tie in your cross-cut rabbit strip

Step 4:Wrap your rabbit and tie in a small piece of Mallard Flank on top

Step 5: Top view of "step 4"

Step 6:Find your stringing wire to attach the two hooks together

Step 7: Inset front hook and attach wire with beads for proper spacing for the hooks

Step 8: More cross-cut rabbit for the front hook

Step 9: Tie in your marabou feather

Step 10: Tie in your red flashabou over the marabou, and tie in a tip of Mallard Feather for contrast.

Step 11: Start your deer hair sculpin head

Step 12: Trim your deer hair head to size!
