Step 2: Lay down your custom flash tail

Step 4:Building your body with, more buck tail

Step 9: The Flash Deceiver is a very diverse fly pattern. There are unlimited color combinations. The Olive and White combo shown above is a great sunny day choice, and or low water. The number one combo in 2008 on the Garden River was Fire Tiger, shown in the top photo. A helpful hint, is that you might have to add a stinger hook. But check your local regulations on the rivers you fish if you can have stinger hooks.
